Home > Programs > Transition for Club Rocklin Programs Well Underway

The transition of Club Rocklin’s preschool and before/after school care program from the City of Rocklin is on track! The three preschools will be operated by Rocklin Unified School District and the eleven before/after school programs at the elementary schools will be provided by REEF. The Club Rocklin name will remain in place at all existing sites.

The final memoranda of understanding (MOUs) and lease agreements are being finalized and will be presented at meetings of the Rocklin USD Board of Trustees on April 14th and the Rocklin City Council on April 15th for review and approval. Registration will open shortly after these official actions are taken.

After a thorough analysis of potential program providers, the REEF Board of Directors has selected Child Development, Inc. (CDI) to operate the before and after school component of Club Rocklin. CDI will also be the provider for the RUSD preschools. This non-profit organization has a 45-year proven track record in operating over 150 centers throughout California that offer a full range of student-focused enrichment activities. They have centers in communities much like Rocklin such as Davis, Irvine, and Cupertino.

Enrollment in both the preschool and school-age care programs will officially open on May 1.  Announcements will be sent to current Club Rocklin families and all RUSD elementary student households during the last week in April.CDI will be handling enrollment processing for both programs. Links to CDI’s Club Rocklin registration applications will be featured on the web sites of RUSD, City of Rocklin, and REEF.

The REEF Board of Directors is looking forward to playing a leadership role in ushering in a new era for Club Rocklin based on continued high-quality service and program excellence for the students of the Rocklin community.
